Funny story about this one—when I met my husband, the only storage he owned was an old vacuum box he used exclusively to store hangers. When we moved in together, I got rid of it—or so I thought. While painting this, drawn to the composition of the bedroom clutter, I realized the box was still there, hiding in plain sight. And now, it’s on my canvas. May his hanger box live on forever.
